About Wild Rose Ranch
Coordinates: 53 degrees 23' 29: 56N 123 degrees 04' 38" 41W
This ranch is located in a sportsman's paradise with lots of game, fowl and great fishing, hunting, ATV, and horseback riding. On the ranch, we've seen moose, elk, mule and whitetail deer, black and cinnamon bears and coyotes. Fowl we've seen on the ranch has been geese, ducks, eagles, hawks, loons and Sandhill cranes. Nearby fishing can be done on the ranch lake, the Blackwater River, the Fraser River, Punchaw Lake and numerous other lakes in the area. There are trails on the ranch plus abandoned logging roads and unlimited miles of trails around the area.
The Alexander McKenzie Trail is just off the ranch to the south and has miles of trails. The trail drops down to the Blackwater River. The Alexander McKenzie Trail starts back in Ottawa and goes on to the BC coast.
For flying enthusiasts, you can land on the ranch lake with floats, or an airstrip could easily be graded out on the ranch.
